A Ware Community Space is a membership based space for creators, in Bangalore, India. It is designed to bring together like minded creators with common values and mindsets who, while creating beautiful art & craft independently, could engage meaningfully and intently in a collaborative and creative environment with other creators alongside.
We envision members of the community to experience camaraderie and fearlessly tap into the strength in interdependence.
A Ware Community Space will work best for potters with prior experience working with clay. You will get the most from your experience if you have a clear understanding of ceramic processes, including moving your work efficiently through the studio and glazing processes. The space is equipped with tools and machinery for both hand-built and wheel-throwing potters, including sculptors (inclusive but not limited to pottery wheels, slab-roller, hand-building tools, throwing tools, sculpting tools, armature, banding wheel). Note: The total number of memberships granted per month will be limited in order to ensure that there is an availability of tools, space and other resources for when members choose to book their slots.
Mandatory Orientation: All community members must attend an in-person orientation session that covers studio policies, procedures and deadlines for the period of membership.
Weekdays: 9:00am - 9:00pm
Weekends: 9:00am - 6:00pm
*pottery wheels and other studio areas will be available on prior scheduling only.

Duration of membership: Each of our packages for members have a validity of 30 days. Please note that there isn’t any carry over of unused hours to the next month. All memberships need to be renewed within 7 days of the successive month.
To keep our environment safe, inclusive, and welcoming, we have two questions that we request community members reflect upon when working and being in our space. Please help us create an environment where everyone is able to show up as their whole selves.
Am I bring respectful, kind, open, non-judgemental?
- A Ware Community Space strives to create a welcoming and supportive community for every individual who walks in our door.
- Racism, sexism, transphobia, homophobia, xenophobia, bullying, elitism, harassment, or violence of any kind is strictly prohibited.
Am I taking up too much space?
- Disruptive behavior that distracts or disturbs others from making art is not tolerated.
- Be mindful and considerate of other members’ space and working time; if you usually take up more space than others, please practice making space for others.
- Clean up your workspace thoroughly, including the wheel, table, tools, floor, ware boards, etc. Leave the studio cleaner than you found it /or at least as you found it.
- Please take phone conversations outside of the shared work area.
- Clean up any mugs / dishes that you use during the day and keep it back in its place before you leave.
- Store your things in your lockers only.
